Christmas Shops
Christmas shops in Estes Park.
Estes Park does the holidays year-round: two Christmas stores downtown, a strip of gift shops and candy counters, and a lantern-lit parade the night after Thanksgiving. Then a warm lodge up the hill to wrap it all.

The Stores
Christmas, all year.
Two downtown stores keep the season going no matter the month, both an easy walk along Elkhorn Avenue, with a whole strip of local shops in between.
- The Christmas Shoppe: a downtown fixture on Elkhorn Avenue for more than fifty years, ornaments, collectibles, and holiday decor
- Simply Christmas: ornaments including personalized ones, plus a big collegiate and pro sports holiday collection, on West Elkhorn Ave
- Along the way: The Taffy Shop (vintage candy since 1935), Trendz at the Park, Mad Moose, and Aspen and Evergreen for local art

The Season
Lights on Elkhorn.
The town turns it on for the holidays. Downtown lights up, Bond Park gets its tree, and the Catch the Glow parade rolls down Elkhorn Avenue the Friday after Thanksgiving with floats, marching bands, and Santa.
- Catch the Glow holiday parade, the Friday after Thanksgiving
- Downtown tree lighting in Bond Park, late November
- Holiday Wine Festival on Thanksgiving weekend

The Basecamp
Come home for the holidays.
Ten minutes above the lights, the lodge is made for a mountain Christmas: a wood-burning fireplace, a vaulted great room to gather in, and room for the whole family. See what the holidays look like up here.
